Judgement represented here as Rob Zombie, as in his song “More Human Than Human”, expresses the yearning to evolve beyond mundane human limitations and attain a higher state of being. This resonates with the internal tug-of-war and quest that many feel to discover a sense of identity and purpose- the resurrection of a desire to overcome personal limitations & to be more than what we are currently. Now, the 7 of cups can negatively influence this awakened pursuit by letting ourselves be fooled by mirages, deluding ourselves with illusions or believing in the masks of others. When other’s dreams replace ours, one can be left empty-handed or immensely disappointed, as Phil Lynott sang for the young highway man in “Whiskey in the Jar” betrayed by his Molly. Help arrives in the form of Freddie Mercury as the Queen of Swords, denoting the need for self-reliance & patience in the face of provocation working to throw us off track from answering the call of following our “One Vision”. By abandoning zombie-like behavior patterns and executing good judgment we can resist succumbing to external influences. Laser focus on our “one goal, one mission with one heart & one soul- Just one solution”. Knowing your own mind & maintaining sharp mental agility intently keen on seeking truth above all else, will “Show you the Way” towards a more prosperous & balanced way of living-“day after day”. It may be a slow build, but results will finally arrive after consistent effort & steady application of focus. We will do ourselves a justice by looking at choices honestly. And while one just needs to “believe there comes a time when everything just falls in line”, know that you will get out whatever you put in. We can be “Invincible” when our choices align with our moral values and what we believe is right and ethical.

“Getting Out of Your Head & Onto Path”
Presently you are actively engaged in the art of refinement- perfecting an aspiration. This signifies one involved in consistent self-improvement especially in regard to a particular skill set. Hard at work applying your natural talents /gifts or pursuing a higher goal to make a name for yourself in what you do or are. And yet, you are still not yet recognized for your efforts. Your reward has not yet come. What are you wishing for? Maybe that reaching the pinnacle could be easier, and a bit more fun. The postmark symbolizes a recognition of your willingness to learn to expand your horizons & what you presently know or understand. You may wish to boldly step into unknown territories that promise an expansion of possibilities-An expansion of the application of the talents you’ve been so diligently working on. One could say, it’s a journey to find yourself & your purpose in order to make sense of the world or how at least how we can make it better by doing what we know best. This urge to put yourself out there can be halted by too much inner focus, e.g. over-thinking, reviewing of past mistakes or wishful thinking in the form of unrealistic optimism or catastrophizing. Analysis paralysis! The Angel in the card is about to place a gift of blooming abundance in the empty basket of someone needing reassurance, direction or protection as they go it alone. Taking the first step may all that is needed to receive what you need along the way. Perhaps this is you giving a taste of your talent to one that is in need-an answer to their prayer and ultimately yours- to get you out of your head & on your way to broader horizons. Action will be the remedy to cure an uncertainty or doubt if you’re unable to choose a path. Journey of a thousand miles starts with one step.

What’s the outcome of working with both?: Strength
Your unrecognized strength comes in the form of the Queen of Swords - a seductive & skillful woman who knows how to move people via their weaknesses & strengths because of her intimidating astuteness & being able to see past the bullshit. This Queen is at peace with her communication style. Her acquired wisdom, quick delivery & confidence in her ideas allows her to make decisions with sometimes brutal honesty. She’s ok with doing the heavy lifting alone and she can make peace with conflicts with her own mind. Her resources of logic and courage lead her strategies, actions and thought processes. Remember the Queen is only as strong as she is now because of how vulnerable & insecure she once felt about her own self-worth & ability. Seems there’s still some lingering anxieties to be effectively tamed. Here the Queen angrily flips off her anxiety & where she’s kept herself tight & small. As if saying, “I did this to myself & I’m the only one who can free myself from it”. This imprisonment is strictly a self-imposed state of mind. Recognize where your power or actions have been held back by self-imposed constraints, preventing you from taking a step or any action. Rather than being bound by mental bonds, free yourself from them. Give shape to your “feet of clay” instead of being hindered by this hidden weakness instigating your downfall because your kingdom needs you to sit on its throne & give counsel. You’ve not realized that you’ve turned your back on your support system represented by the castle in the background. The Wyvern, the granter of 2nd chances, flies about its turrets, urging you to confront this weakness and put this battle to bed once & for all. A true warrior understands when the war is over; other challenges await, creating mutually beneficial solutions -win/win scenarios. By working with both your strength & weakness, you get a handle on that beast you’ve created. You create a greater sense of inner calm & connection with your gift of gentle persuasion that gets the world to bend to your way of thinking. You obtain your set goals by using courageous strategy, by playing to your strengths & exuding a calm countenance without having to constantly engage in the fight. This applies to the outer world, of course, but to more so, the battle inside your head that limits what you want to achieve.

This week the Platypus serves as a reminder to embrace your uniqueness and whatever makes you different from all the rest. You have an unusual point of view, philosophy, value system or gift that can serve as a blessing to someone right now. When we pretend to be something we are not, we lose sight of our purpose. You can encourage another to go by the “beat of their own drum”, just as you do in many ways. There may have been times when you loudly complained that your individuality is not appreciated. Some see you as rather weird and reject you as odd. But to others, you’re seen as an oddity that’s actually quite a marvel, leaving some to wonder if you are really real, in the best possible sense. Share whatever you found that led you to a continuous path of self-discovery allowing you to remain more content, nurtured & ‘in the flow” no matter how unconventional it appears to others. What you need here though, is to look at things from a greater height-A greater POV. You hold a narrow focus that what you have to give is for a narrow audience-lose that. By pulling out and looking at the landscape from a higher perspective, you can spot opportunities to reach another that may feel or think as uniquely or as “weird” as you. You really need to see yourself & what you have to offer from a grand scheme, bigger picture, or expanding beyond the pond you know. Zebra hints on how you can become more open to increased generosity in your life by not being fearful & to accept that it can come from the most unusual places or unexpected people. Not everything is black or white-all this or all that. Situations/ people have a mix of both light & dark within them, and what may seem like an unlikely source of generosity, may shock you-particularly since people & situations have become so polarizing. Notice the two “unusual” creatures saddling the need for a greater POV. “Peculiarities” have not found each other yet because they live in different habitats, different climates, even different time zones. Condor, a creature of the air, represents communication, wisdom across airwaves, urging individuals to transcend superficial judgments and connect.
