Action: King of Wands Reversed
Challenge this week centers around trying to work together to find a solution rather than being engaged in conflict or a battle of wills. As a leader, you're being asked to get everyone onto the same page while avoiding ego clashes & power dynamics. The real challenge isn't just ending the conflict but transforming it into collaborative energy where differences become strengths rather than obstacles before malignant attitudes undermine the whole project. The Fool is an encouraging sign that the environment will be changing, and a fresh start could be at hand bringing with it improved attitudes. However, the energy of the Fool has little structure and is prone to unpredictability. The mood is free but chaotic having no foresight whatsoever. It needs thoughtful direction and leadership to prevent chaos, yet others are reluctant to step up to lead the group. The opportunity lies in harnessing this fresh energy while providing the necessary guidance to channel it, productively & yet your normal commanding presence may need to be tempered a bit. King of Wands reversed suggests that this is a time to check any tendencies toward domineering behavior since arrogance can alienate others bringing possible misfortune to an otherwise good leader. Since the King of Wands rules by setting an example, are you inadvertently creating a hostile environment through controlling behavior? Take an honest inventory of how your actions might be perceived by others & how it sets the tone. Consider the input of others; your perspective, although valuable, is not always the only right answer. Practicing delegation rather than micromanagement, will ultimately lead to better decision making, less frustration & and a happier team...and hopefully increased confidence within the group that will produce a team leader for the future.

Guidance for April 20, 2025: “Heaven Isn’t Too Far Away”
Good Friday: What must die? There are times when women, in particular, can fear taking matters into their own hands to protect those who are closest to them, including their own best interest. Fearing that they may overstep, they say nothing, or are accused of being a shrew if they do. Associated with the High Priestess in traditional tarot, this Mistress of Terror feels a bit out of her depth in this position. Her apprehension is perceived as weakness, possessing little power. To the extreme, we may have a woman too controlling & a bit hostile, obsessed with manipulations & machinations, who gatekeeps behind the scenes. Neither approach serves & must perish.
Holy Saturday: What must wait? Although a “light at the end of the tunnel” seems to be at hand, leveling up seems to be put on pause at the moment. Not going to lie, this feels frustrating. The Ascent of The Blessed is a sight for sore eyes. After all the trials & tribulations, an opportunity for some peace or rejuvenation would be very welcomed right now. However, graduating or advancing to the next round is delayed a bit. Things still need to sync up so that you’re carried by Divine Guidance to be at the right place at the right time. Your miracle is hitting every red light, but it’s coming.
Easter Sunday: What to resurrect? As you wait for Divine Timing, don’t be “off somewhere else” & let down your guard. You’ll still have to take control & keep applying for what you desire, lest you fool yourself into believing something that isn’t true yet. Your lack of awareness could be taken advantage of, either by self-deception or another, while you’re “asleep at the wheel “. Don’t lose your spot through complacency.

What skills do I need to bring? The Warrior (Aries)
Where I need to focus efforts? The Fall (Aquarius & Leo)
Benefit Gained from Skill Growth: The Gilded Cage (Taurus/Libra-Venus)
The Warrior (Aries) represents the skills one needs to bring to tangibly create something new. The fearless passion to fight for or defend something worthwhile. Unrelenting in its unstoppable power, it leads, makes changes & initiates events. It’s the epitome of the word “change” since it will destroy the existing state of things to create new directions to follow for the future. This energy does not like being told what to do & will not wait for permission to act. It will not quit as it fights to start over; surrender is not an option. The Warrior does not look back but focuses on the road ahead, scouting for potential dangers. The Fall (Aquarius & Leo) indicates a loss of power or even a reversal of power dynamics, & so those dangers may represent a collapse of status, or perhaps even infidelity. This card suggests focusing on efforts to redeem a fall or prevent one from happening in the first place due to foolishness or disloyalty. Leo is loyal, but with Uranus here, we get an unexpected reversal of that loyalty. Note that Leo can become too arrogant, too ego-driven, or perhaps too generous for vanity's sake, thereby needing to be knocked down a peg or two. In this way, the King suffers a humbling experience—a rebellious action causing a hit to the ego, quite possibly in a very public way. "The mob (Aquarius) turns on the King (Leo)." The rebellion of Aquarius is the result of being pushed too far, controlled too much—exploding in an unexpected burst of non-conformity—and so they act out. Aquarius & Leo, opposing signs, can be at odds with one another, but they can also balance each other out. Is it possible to hold a mirror up, forcing one to look at what a fool they are being before there is a fall from grace? What or who trips you up? Since the Sun is here, it most likely is yourself. The Gilded Cage (Taurus/Libra-Venus) represents the benefit gained from skill growth brought by the Warrior. A reexamination of loyalty, how one must fight for what is precious, and the actions needed to preserve valued agreements & relationships. Taurus is the security & comfort (Venus) within the relationship (Libra). The cards reveal where you've grown passive & less flexible over time—increasingly lazy or complacent, taking the other for granted. To make the relationship more meaningful, one must be willing to invest a part of themselves in maintaining it and be willing to sacrifice a bit of personal freedom & power. This makes both parties comfortable, each needing the other materially (Taurus) & socially (Libra). Otherwise, the foundations will be unstable, tumble, & fall.

A card that signals contraction, Decrease speaks to the uncomfortable but necessary sacrifice to avoid a large loss later. It has a very Saturnian energy to it, that to keep the circuit in balance & flowing in a healthy way, it is better to destroy a little to stave off a larger destruction. As if one was pruning the dead growth from a fruit tree, it’s the action required for a greater yield at harvest time. To achieve this, one could either follow the road of the Hanged Man or the Magician. The Hanged Man is the very example of making sacrifices for the good of a situation or for the benefit of another. Do not mistake this time of surrender as giving up. He makes the conscious decision to go one step back so he may leap two steps ahead later. His willing abstinence refrains from acquiring anything but the essentials. For instance, travel is suspended, preferring now to stay at home rather than indulge in unnecessary spending. He doesn’t really see this “accepting what is” as a negative but an opportunity to enjoy a slower pace, making room for new opportunities to present themselves. It’s all in the way you look at it! The Magician can also see the possibilities rather than the deficits while sorting the critical from the fluff. He's pretty skilled at making do with what he already has and can craft something out of nothing by just using his talent and tools/materials at hand. This simplifying time can awaken his resourcefulness by getting creative at repurposing and invention. In his world, there's no reason to go without, as he will, as if by magic, materialize the very thing he needs. Rather than a more passive sacrifice, he’ll take action on producing extra $$ by perhaps putting his unwanted items on eBay or what’s he’s created on Facebook Marketplace for a buck or two.
